In September 2017, Keaton Emery tragically lost his life in the Italian Alps following a fall whilst out hiking near the summit of Legnoncino mountain. Keaton was backpacking around the world without using a plane and had set off on his travels in March on his bike in the direction of Plymouth before catching a ferry to France. Keaton had formerly been a pupil of Beech Hall's Junior School before moving on to Cheadle Hulme School aged 11.
Keaton's parents have set up the Keaton Emery Memorial Foundation to assist disadvantaged young people. Beech Hall Parents' Association will be organising a charity breakfast in aid of the Foundation on Friday 4 May 2018 from 8am to 9.30am in the School Dining Room.
Our thoughts are with Keaton's parents, family and friends at this sad time.
