Excellent GCSE Results for Beech Hall School

Beech Hall School is celebrating success as its pupils collected their GCSE results
today (20 August).

A highly-impressive 93% of this year’s cohort achieved passes in English
and Maths, and the school secured an exceptional 100% pass rate in Dual Science.
Beech Hall School also celebrates a 100% pass rates in Art, Drama, Geography,
History, Physics and Business Studies.

Continuing on their educational journey following their GCSE success, the pupils will
now go on to fulfil their aspirations as they achieve much-coveted paces at leading
colleges.

Poynton resident, James Townley, has excelled in his GCSEs including four grade
6’s in Art, English Language, English Literature and Maths. His resilience throughout
the year has been rewarded with a place at Reaseheath College to study Sports
Development and Coaching.

Sporting superstar, Charles Morrison-Hughes from Macclesfield, who joined Beech
Hall School in Year 9, secured an impressive eight GCSEs including a grade 7 in PE.
The keen rugby and squash player will build on his abilities while studying Sports at
Wilmslow High Sixth Form.

Molly Marshall-Clack, also from Macclesfield received an outstanding seven GCSEs
including grade 6 in Art and PE. She will now take her artistic talents to study Art and
Design at Buxton and Leek College.

have risen to the challenge in this extraordinary and extremely challenging year, with
so much uncertainty and disruption. Impressively, all at Beech Hall remained
extremely focussed throughout, and our very strong results are testament to the hard
work and admirable dedication of our year 11s and their teachers.”
