Music, Sport & Extra Curricular Activities
There is so much more to Beech Hall Junior School than just high academic attainment. The school has a thriving Music Department and children benefit from a wide range of peripatetic lessons in a whole host of instruments from an early age. There is a wide-ranging programme of extra curricular and sporting activities offered throughout the week and at weekends. Children may belong to any number of our many sports teams where the fixtures in all the major sports are played regularly. Most pupils can expect to represent the school in some capacity from as young as seven years old in sporting competitions. In addition, many children participate in extra curricular clubs including cookery, art, needlework, drama, sailing, golf, dance, IT and a variety of choirs.
Shows & Concerts
The highlights of the year for the parents are those special occasions when the fruits of the labours of staff and children are displayed. The Christmas play is held in the new Performing Arts Centre and the children perform to a full house of proud parents.
